Decorating for Christmas is good for the soul this year. And there are some great local businesses you can support to deck your halls! And I have the perfect plan to make it a little sweeter: go to Mirror Lake Gas Station to get their award-winning donuts to fuel up and then head out Christmas tree hunting! One of the cutest events of the year! Park City Gardens is hosting its annual Live Manger amongst the Christmas Trees! They will be holding this outdoor event On December 5 from 2PM-5PM. Come visit with the animals and get in the holiday spirits. Best photo opts with the family and it's FREE for the community! We love Park City Nursery!!

Deer Valley opens on December 5 and it's their 40th anniversary so there's even more reason to celebrate getting outside and doing what Park City does best! Luckily a lot of Park City's oldest traditions are outdoors and perfect for social distancing! Park City's Annual Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade is a tradition as old as the Park City Mountain Resort itself, this year is the 56th year! The show will go as usual on Christmas Eve at 6PM, find out more here.

After spending much of the year at home, going to a castle sure does sound nice! The Midway Ice Castles are sure to be a much needed outdoor activity for the whole family. While they're not open yet, they are gearing up as they wait for the perfect conditions in order to create this ice marvel! After visiting a butcher shop and tasting room in Northern California together, Chuck and Dan, decided they wanted nothing more than to bring their dream of a true European Style deli and butcher shop to the mountains of Park City, and Chop Shop was born! This exciting edition to Park City is planning to open in Kimball before Christmas but follow them on Instagram for updates!
