The Armstrong Trail
This moderate trail is known for stellar views of Park City, wildflowers, and towering native trees. Start at the Silver Star Lift, choose between two short loops, head up the mountain, and connect to the popular Spiro Trail. Depending on your chosen route, expect a 3-5-mile hike. Along the way, there are plenty of areas to stop and enjoy the wildflowers while enjoying some hiking nosh.
Mid-Mountain Trail
Mid-Mountain Trail is one of the most versatile trails in Park City. With multiple entry points and up to 23 miles of hikeable terrain, this trail offers a wonderful day out for beginners and experts alike. Choose between one of the many trailheads and wind your way through gentle hills and stunning 360 views. Don’t forget to pack lunch! Round Valley Trail
Ideal for all skill levels, this 7-mile trail boasts scenic views and dog-friendly loops. You won't find many shady spots, so be sure to stay hydrated and bring your sunscreen. Access this easy hike from any of these trailheads: North Round Valley Trailhead, Old Ranch Road Trailhead, Trailside Park, or Round Valley Trailhead. When you’re done, you can set up a spot at the trailhead to enjoy a victory picnic and refresh your energy.
Utah Olympic Park Trails
Hike through a part of Utah history via the Utah Olympic Park Trails. This easy–yet exciting hike–weaves you through picturesque aspens and leads you to Olympic Park, home of the 2002 winter Olympics. From there, you can choose a variety of trails and explore the area further. You can do a quick 1.5-mile hike or the full 7. Look for trailhead access at Stay Park City, The Alf Engen Ski Museum, or Run-a-Muk Dog Park.
Union Pacific Rail Trail
Take a walk in our early miner's shoes with this easy trek along an old railroad path. Stretching across 28 miles, this leisurely hike offers dynamic photo opportunities like Park City's beloved Union Pacific Bridge and our hometown cityscape. With plenty of entry points, you can pop in and out of the trail at your whim or set up a picnic at one of its many stopping points for a longer journey. Access points are found at Echo Dam Rd. Trailhead, Coalville Trailhead, Prospector Park Trailhead, or Downtown Trailhead.
