From fun and charming outings in the Heber Valley to Park City staples like Howl-o-ween and the Scarecrow fest, check out all the ways to trick, treat, get pumpkins, and have a really good Halloween in Park City! I may be biased, but holidays here always seem a little extra special in the mountains!

Scarecrow Fest

Register for this year's Scarecrow Festival here!
Come to the McPolin Farm and build your own scarecrow, displayed for everyone to see. The City provides straw for stuffing, a support along the trail for your 'crow and a display packet. Bring the items to build your scarecrow including a head, clothing, shoes, props, scissors and any other fun funky accessories you can think of! You can also build your scarecrow at home and install it whenever you choose, just don't forget your registered name tag found in your display packet.
Two ticket types are available: event and non-event tickets.
Non-event tickets are $25 and include a support, display packet and straw stuffing at the Farm.
Event tickets are $50 include the above plus pumpkin painting, face painting, cookies and cider on Saturday, October 5, 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Haunted Forest at Park City Gardens
Now open! Go enjoy the haunted forest during business hors all spooky season—now through Halloween! Always free for the community, but don't forget to bring a food donation for the Food Bank collection or they take donations! Also, grab a pumpkin and a sweet treat when you're there!
The Pumpkin Train
You and your kids will enjoy our fun annual Pumpkin Train! Your ticket includes a short 40 minute train ride where you will be entertained on board by our hosts. You'll also be served a delicious pumpkin chocolate chip cookie. And of course you also get to select a pumpkin from our Pumpkin Patch and take it home with you! Additional food and snacks will be available for purchase at the depot.
NOTE: This train has assigned seats! If you want to sit by another party who purchased tickets on a separate order, you must call us and let us know at least 24 hours before your departure time.
Dates: October 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th 2024
Schedule: Departures at 10am, Noon, 2pm, 4pm & 6pm
Fares: $15 - General Admission, ages 2+ (includes pumpkin and pumpkin cookie) - You'll ride in one of our standard historic coaches. $10 - Toddler ticket, age 1 and under. (Must sit on a lap - includes pumpkin and pumpkin cookie)

Heber Valley Cheese Fall Festival
Fall Festival at Kohler Creamery will include activities for the entire family all month long. Enjoy the breathtaking views while your kids are able to play in the hay maze, corn pit, hay slide, bounce house and many other attractions.
