Good Summer Hikes

HIKE AND DINE

Armstrong Trail is a moderate trail just over 3 miles with beautiful wildflowers. But the real motivation for this hike is the promise of après hiking at Silver Star Café on the patio when you’re done!

GOOD WATER HIKES

It’s a beautiful drive and walk around Mirror Lake in the Uintas. Blood Lake is a nice hike close to town and Wall Lake is about an hour away and offers a great entry level hike. For a dramatic water destination, visit Stewart Falls in Sundance, for a moderate hike to a picturesque waterfall.

A GOOD SHADY HIKE

This is a local fave, probably because Rob’s Trail is shady! Hike up and overlook Canyons on this not-too-hot and enjoyable trail.

A GOOD BURN HIKE

Iron Canyon is a butt burner if you’re looking for a work out! But don’t be intimidated, this isn’t a super long hike and the vertical trail is worth it with a nice resting spot at the end that overlooks Park City.
